It seems that we can put the word end to the rumor more or less confirmed on Raphael, cellular HTC successor of Tytn II, now called the HTC Touch Pro. The Touch Pro goes to climb the range of HTC phones, positioning itself at the top thanks to technical and functional characteristics that exceed the already excellent Touch Diamond.

As already anticipated with the version of Pro Touch (then Raphael) shown by T-Mobile, the mobile phone will have a form factor similar to Tytn II and his phone module will ensure connectivity HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps. Obviously those are all characteristics that the Diamond we anticipated, including 528Mhz processor, Wi-Fi, 3.2 megapixel camera, 3D interface TouchFLO, bluetooth, VGA display by 2.8 inches, Windows Mobile 6.1 and Opera 9.5.

Both the operating system is the interface TouchFLO 3D, however, will certainly more fluid, thanks to greater amount of RAM installed compared to diamond: Well 192 288 Mb, with 512 Mb ROM.

Of course not lack the QWERTY, strong point of Touch PRO and reason for the likely price premium compared to Diamond and microSD, despite voices who confirmed the absence. At the time the Tytn II came out with the launch price of 829 €.
