3G iPhone: Infineon chip defective?

iphone 3g lackAs we mentioned in a previous article devoted iPhone 3G Apple, not everything is the best for Californian manufacturer and the touchscreen device most famous of the planet is in the eye of thousands of complaints by users dissatisfied with the malfunctions of performances, in particular on some problems with phone calls and surfing the Web.

It appears, in fact, the iPhone would block and slowdowns during telephone calls and Internet navigation. Bug-related, according to unofficial sources, such a chip in the terminal and produced by Infineon. The motivation of the blocks and slowdowns, then, would be due to a poorly configured of that chip, pointing more to navigation EDGE also in the territories covered by the third generation networks and HSDPA, making the connection jump from the high-speed lines to choose the 2.5 G.

Symbian and Google: collaboration possible?

After completing the acquisition of Symbian, Nokia aims to conquer the entire field of smartphones. Try to do that through the new mobile platform open, which gave rise to Symbian Foundation, which is being developed by several companies worldwide. All rightly expect that the goal is to beat competing platforms such as the iPhone or Android.

But it is not. Nigel Clifford, managing director Symbian, did understand that Nokia would be very happy to accept the help of Google developers to work together with some applications. “If there is an opportunity, we are pleased to collaborate with them. In particular it would be nice to collaborate to develop applications or level of the operating system. ”

Unfortunately, the two platforms are incompatible but a partnership could create a new super power in the mobile landscape. Just think that today Symbian holds 67% of the market, while Google 61% of the sector of mobile searches.

Leave joined Motorola and Apple denounced

Motorola has just brought to court his ex-manager for disclosing the secrets of the Apple accepting a new position working on producing the iPhone.

Michael Fenger seems to have accepted millions of dollars and actions at will as good output pact not to reveal the secrets of Motorola to competitors. In addition, it would not have had to work in the field and in the same position for the next two years.

Fenger, however, having collected the booty has been accepted a post offered by Apple less than a month after his resignation from Motorola. According to the indictment, Fenger would have resulted in the court of Steve Jobs also two other ex-Motorola employees who had access to all the secrets of the U.S. and contacts with customers. Apple meanwhile has denied any lawsuit against Fenger, meanwhile, should begin to seriously worry about.
