3G iPhone: You can replace the battery?

The July 11 will officially the new iPhone 3G second generation. Besides the novelty of support for 3G networks seems that the new iPhone will offer users the ability to more easily replace the internal battery.

Unfortunately, as some readers know, so far Apple has always preferred to avoid that customers acces the internal circuitry of its devices. For this reason, manually replace a battery for the iPhone, for example, would have been impossible and quite costly.

However, this situation will change. The new iPhone, as shown in the many promotional video broadcast by Apple in recent days, have two screws on either side of the connector, near the speakers. This particular feature is not present in the first version iPhone, it on iPods, therefore could mean that users can easily remove the cover and replace the battery. Apple change strategy? We will see, now missing a few days to debut iPhone 3G.
